WTB: L3130D GST

WANTED TO BUY: L3130D GST, Looking for cream puff, low hours, gently treated, no leaks, broken parts, one kept in the barn over winter at least.

Im looking for a nice clean one with light duty, used to maintain your property, not one that worked to death and seen better days. Must be straight frame & bucket, GST, LA 723 front loader, decent AG tires . If it has top & tilt ok but not essential. Good working PTO.
You would have to be far west, I am in Santa Cruz county central Calif coast. I could go pick up in Calif., Oregon, Nevada, Arizona...areas. Please tell me where your are, details about what you have, how many hours, if it was kept outside or under cover at night; condition of rubber and any other useful details.
Let me know if you have the service records. Please send some good clear photos.

all of those listed at that site dont even state what transmission; all are east of me by 1000's of miles but thanks anyway..the shipping would be $4-5k !

thanks, but the L3130 are still around in large numbers; for me its the GST that makes the difference; fyi, im a hopeless optimist; @ 85.5 ears old i planted 4 apple trees in my orchard ! Finding a tractor in Cal, far western states where small farming is done in large numbers, these machines are all over; its just a matter
of finding one with right condition. Just bought L3130 with 2k hours, a cream puff, been garaged, and has no issues; im only letting it go to get GST, just cant make HST work in the redwoods and forest like my old GST....ill find it, have several 'spotters' working around, just got HST last weekend 120 miles away....Cental valley has thousands of small farms...i find it no problem. I also bought a 4-- hour L2850 25 years ago 900 miles away in Oregon....it was worth the 9 hour drive ! Its the one with the broken axle.

I also have 5 Model A Fords; they are all originals, and stock as the day they were made! I can find original parts for them w/o a problem; its a matter of where you are and what shows up. "Sparkly Unicorn" is not in my vocab. My 86 Targa Carrera is also something that i can still find parts for...its all a matter of $$$, if your willing to pay, the parts are there.

His point and post was to show you what's avalible US wide.
What you want is going to be near to impossible to find.
FYI: Do you know the difference in the tractor types?
L3130F is Gear drive 2wd
L3130D is. Gear drive 4wd
L3130D-GST is a Glide Shift 4wd
L3130D-HST is an Hydrostatic 4wd

A lot of people confuse a D and a GST as they think GST is gear drive, it is but its not a manual drive tractor.

So when you see an ad for a L3130D you should know what transmission it has.

Hi Wolfman,
Of course i know what im trying to buy, L3130d [diesel] GST 4wd. ! Im just replacing the dead L2850 dt. When you tell me something is impossible or in your view improbable, i truly question such short-sited wisdom. While im sure that may be the case in N. Idaho, however, I live in the SF bay area, nearly everything is possible here ! Failure is not an option in my philosophy ! The 'impossible' was just purchased yesterday 120 miles away. Not 100% what i want it was L 3130 hst, low hours. Ill find another GST and flip this one until then. Yep the "impossible" might take a little bit longer !

Thanks for your lesson, but not applicable to my case. Im not exactly an unexperienced newbie to Kubota tractors either. I still fly my airplane, drive my Carrera & use my Kubota on my rancho....
Positive comments welcomed. Contrary to VA doctors who said i'd never walk, and 2 years in the hospital, im walking and still enjoying my life even though still a 100% disabled black ops vet.
