The amount of information being collected is outrunning the processing and storage capabilities we currently have. New vehicles that record every start, stop, braking etc? Smart home appliances? A gazillion cameras everywhere?

Future speeding tickets could automatically be issued when your car reports your speed to a data center. In a "brownout", your A/C could be remotely reset 5° higher. Any emails, texts or phone calls with a persona non grata could get you on a list. Purchases from separate places to conceal what you're building wouldn't prevent authorities from determining what sort of mischief you're up to.

If a law-abiding citizen such as myself could think these thoughts, imagine what uses the bad actors could come up with.

Its a digital surveillance, control and punishment grid. They are creating digital twins of us that will be used against us.

Speaking of AI. Did you read where one of those AI platforms under development went online and ordered a robot from China that it was able to program and control. It had cameras and a vision system. It was delivered and stopped from being able to be activated online when flagged by receiving. AI said that it just wanted to see the real world through its eyes. Was charged to a company credit card.
