The rear scalp wheel spring mechanisms on my 23S center mower deck keep popping out on my uneven ground in my pastures with lots of mole activity. Is there anyway to increase the spring force or lock the mechanism so this does not happen? I can"t find a breakout of this mechanism anywhere in the 23S kubota shop manual or mower user manual? All the scalp wheels are set to manual recommendations for height with 3" cut level.

Is this the drive-over 60" deck or the regular RCK60B23BX deck? Trying to figure out what springs you're talking about.

The manual says to set the springs at 55mm = 2.165 inches.
Since cutting height is set by the adjustment knob the only other thing I can think of is try raising your scalp wheels a notch see if it helps.

If you replace the #4 washer with a extra wide washer it looks like it would help it stay up on that slotted shoulder.
