hmmm wonder if those seats would fit on my L2501, I like the armrests.
I don’t hate the seat on my L, but kind of prefer the seat on the T. Sometimes armrests would be nice.

It's not horrible, the suspension seat helps for sure. But sometimes it would be nice to have a place to comfortably rest my elbows on something.

Sold my old zero turn yesterday!

It has served me well since 2011 which I purchased it brand new. It has a wonderful Kawasaki FR651V which I think is why it ran so well for so long. Changed oil, spark plugs and filter every spring. Its never skipped a beat until the batteries fail haha. I always stored in the garage or shed.

Back in 2011, I traded the old riding mower in for this. Plus this one had some cosmetic issues and they knocked off a good chunk of money so all in all, I only paid $2500 for this mower and sold it for $1200. I think that is pretty dang good for the age of it!!!

But it's time to let her go and upgrade. I don't have the time as I once did with my new full time job and the benefit of making more money this time is that I can get my dream mower! This one was really rough on your back, I mow 6-7 acres with it and after the constant pounding, takes a few minutes to move after haha. The new Kubota is like a lazy boy.

Tomorrow I go sign paper work and put money down on the 2026 Kubota Z452i Kawasaki engine with the 60" deck. Man it's gonna save so much time mowing I think!!

But....it won't fit in the shed! So NOW I'm going to have to build a new shed 🤣

You forgot the cab and A/C!

It never seems to end! 😂
True, heated seats and steering wheel might as well add that too! Oh we can add a touch screen with Android Auto/Apple car Play - 9 speaker audio system with subwoofer.

Yes! A lazy boy on the tractor would be nice. Maybe a mini fridge too, add some drinks and snacks. Won't need to get off the tractor at all!
Hope your wearing depends for the unforeseen waste. :poop:

Can't believe the BX line of tractors can't get seats like that. Would like to have arm rests on mine. May have to check to see if it would fit on mine.

My mower before the BX had the Kawasaki as well and never missed a beat. Great engines, though my MUCH heavier BX goes a LOT farther on a gallon of fuel, haha.

I thought about getting a bx with a mowing deck but I don’t need another diesel tractor 🤣 considering it would only be used for mowing and for my property, the zero turn will cut it faster.

I've mentioned before that the seats on all three Kubotas (Kubotae?) I've had were uncomfortable as they came from the factory. They all felt like they were trying to dump me into the steering wheel. After raising the front mounts they were all acceptable.

The seat in my L4240 is by far the most comfortable because it's cloth and has a decent suspension. It has flip-down armrests that I never use because the location of them simply doesn't feel right. Things were different a couple dozen years ago when running the B7500. That seat wasn't very soft, had little suspension and on rough terrain would go WHAP-WHAP-WHAP on body parts that didn't appreciate it when cruising briskly in baggy shorts.

Time spent in the tractor is enjoyable. Since retiring about 4-1/2 years ago there's rarely a need to rush through things. I did mow our 3-1/2 acres in a couple minutes under an hour just to see how fast it could be done. Now it doesn't bother me if it takes over 1-1/2 hours. A slower pace also prevents beating the snot out of me and my equipment.
