Looking for insight for hard shifting on a 2004 M110. Clutch pedal has become increasingly touchy so the tractor jumps (sometimes) when the pedal is released. Very sporadic.
The other symptom is an incredibly hard shift between 4th and 5th gear, either up or down, corresponding to the L/H range change.
The fluid was changed about a year ago and I will be doing it again in the next week or so. Could that be the culprit?
Manual isn't very helpful for troubleshooting advice.
Any thoughts or ideas appreciated.

You situation describes mine to a T. I have exactly the same problem. Tha engagement is extremely harsh. I did discover that if I hold the pedal at the point at which the harsh engagement occurs then the clutch seems to release a bit and then I can " feather" the clutch in a somewhat normal fashion. I put a newcluth pedal sensor in,thinking that would solve the issue but it didn't change a thing. I ran through the whole step by step reprogramming spiel as laid out in the manual and tha seems to have solved my harsh 4,5 shift but I still have the jumpy clutch issue. I'm also not sure what to do next.
