If they could put a Cummins on my BX, wouldn’t have to worry about ballast. Plus, wouldn’t be called an oversized garden tractor anymore.I would be all in if they had a BX size
that's what i'm thinking. even 2 cylinder if it can make 25 hp like a BXcummins does make a 4 cylinder diesel.![]()
But what would @hagrid comment about then?If they could put a Cummins on my BX, wouldn’t have to worry about ballast. Plus, wouldn’t be called an oversized garden tractor anymore.

They later added 6 more bottoms but the engine did not notice.44 bottom plow pulled by steam…. No wonder the natives hated us.
But, but, but, I was recently criticized in another thread herein for suggesting that folks would buy such machines if they were available and that free enterprise would supply such absent government interference. Gotta love it.A tractor without electronics.

Indeed, it is.Gotta wonder why this took so long to come to fruition. It was so obvious.
You say the Injun did not notice…??They later added 6 more bottoms but the engine did not notice.
Not sure about the Injun but the Case did not notice. You say the Injun did not notice…??![]()
Doubtful, but they cost much less.I wonder if these "old school" tractors have all of the modern features that so many farmers like and use day in and day out. For example, a joystick with auto rev mode, clutch-less forward and reverse at the push of a button, rpm management, 3-point auto raise and lower at the headlands, PTO auto engage/disengage, memory settings, ISOBUS and so on.
Yeah, these tractors sound great until you actually have to use them for real work where time is money, and you're sitting in them 8 to 10 hours a day.
Cummins does make a 4 cylinder its the 3.9L 4BTIf they could put a Cummins on my BX, wouldn’t have to worry about ballast. Plus, wouldn’t be called an oversized garden tractor anymore.

A 4BT would be way to big to fit in a BX, would probably weigh as much as the rest of the tractor.Cummins does make a 4 cylinder its the 3.9L 4BT
Yes, but it IS a 4 cyl. I'm just being technicalA 4BT would be way to big to fit in a BX, would probably weigh as much as the rest of the tractor.
