Not sure if I asked this before. Is there a kit to convert a 3 point snow blower to a front blower? My 3 point works great but that twisting is killing my back. My lowest 6 disks are fused. Not fun.

no kits( no 'market' for them...? ) but yes you can convert rear blowers for front use.
old skool, you use 3 sprockets out back to change the rotation of a long shaft going from back to front.

today, IF your machine has a midPTO you use that and some 'reduction' to power the blower. need to check the direction though

several gas powered 'ATV style' blowers, possible options, pricey though

I bodged one, 2-24" blowers, 14HP engine, few other parts then it didn't really snow...

Thanks for the replies. Figured as much but had to ask. Didn't figure my mid PTO being different speed than my rear. Putting a motor on it would be to heavy and expensive. Live with what I have for now.

God must have a sense of humor. Yesterday, I put the blower away for the season. I checked the forcast before I did this. Supposed to be only flurries coming by end of week. This mornings forcast shows 3 inches coming in. WTF. Left the back blade out just in case. Glad I did.

OP, not sure if an option for you. I'm a short lightweight person. Positioned my seat as far back as it will go and sort of sit sideways to reduce the amount of twisting. Sort of a mistake in mounting the snowblower and/or cut length of pto driveline resulted in the blower mounted on the furthest back position of its frame. Side benefit of far back seat position is an easy reach to the manual control arm.

~800ft driveway. Miss my NH cruise control. Unlike the Kubota it worked also reverse. Still considering rear view mirrors, but guessing most days they will get covered in backwashed snow spray. Initially did not like the high back seat. But now when cruising backwards clearing snow I more or less lean my shoulder, upper arm against it. Nice stable position.

Traded in for the BX last April. Needed to also purchase a new snowblower. Old snowblower was too large. Front mounted was tempting. Until I saw the additional $$$$s. Needed the additional $$$$s for the grapple and 3rd function kit. My back appreciates the grapple. But eventually my back would appreciate a front mounted snowblower.

I have those magnetic mirrors. Works until they get covered. I have the seat pretty far so I can rest my right leg on the seat while the left one handles the pedals. Beats shoveling.

We sit in similar position and use the same foot for the pedals. Have to look at the manual to check out if the seat swivels. Old NH had a seat that swiveled. But kept it locked straight. Roomier compared to the BX to sit more sideways before the right knee hit anything. Seems like I do need more twist at the hips on the BX. But also getting old and stiff.

No one has mentioned using a rear view camera with a monitor in front of the steering wheel. Could that help?

When I used the 3 point snowblower on my BX2370, I had a wireless camera mounted on top of the ROPs with the monitor attached to the hood by magnets in front of the steering wheel . It worked great with no frequent need to clean the camera lens. Saved a lot of twisting around in the seat.

Have searched for a different seat for my BX. None out there. My seat sucks a bag of dicks. Would think someone would make aftermarket seats for all these tractors, would make a killing. Would like mine to swivel and have arms like a captains chair.

How does that convert the PTO speed from 2100 to 540?? And change it's rotation direction?
Gearbox, pullies, belts, chains, hydraulics, ...
It isn't rocket science. You can do anything you want to, it only takes money and time. And a little imagination. And some skill.

Personally speaking I'd rather buy one of these and trade in the BX

Is that 4 wheel drive? Doesn’t look like it. Bet in 4 feet of snow it gets stuck. You will appreciate your BX that won’t get stuck having 4 wheel drive.

Looks like a backwards tractor:D:).
But can you use it as loader, drag or push a land plane or box blade, use a grapple...... Fine maybe for a specific uses 2nd "tractor"?
JMHO, being clueless to what the contraption is. Tractor is more versatile.

Round one of a Spring "snow storm". ENE Gale force gusts out on L. Superior. Good or maybe bad that it's been hovering -/+ above freezing. Mix of freezing rain, snow. 4-6" is turning out to be 1-2" of slushy snow. No need to clear. Depending on the next front. Forecast is 6-8". Probably still no need to clear. 4X4 truck and warmed up ground along with warmer days forecasted. Mud Season!!!

Image of the middle ~3/4 of the driveway before today. Blue rock gravel adsorbs significant radiant energy from the Sun.
