Typically a friction adjustment but offhand I dont know the specifics of the B2650. I am sure the WSM covers it.

Try closing (tightening) this knob. It controls the 3 pt down speed. If you close it off a bit, it should help keep heavy 3 pt implements from lowering due to bounce....

Are you saying that the lever falls down to the lowest position OR are you saying that the implement starts out raised and quickly lowers as you drive (but not when the tractor is stationary)?

The lever friction adjustment is at the end of the lever.

My B2650 and Lx2610 had/have a adjustment nob
in the slot the position control lever is in.
It is a moveable stop that keeps the 3pt hitch in
the same position.

That is not fir holding the lever. Its for returning the lever to a previously set position. The lever is supposed to stay where placed on its own.
