If you want to destroy your enemies, what better way than to make it rain uncontrollably….in the middle of winter!!!!

All I have to do is attach this “Rain Making Device” to the front of my truck, and PRESTO!!!!!!

Instant rain for a week………….

I can also “tank their economy” ……All I have to do is buy some of their stock, and PRESTO…..They will be bankrupt in less than a “fortnight”…….. :cautious:

Backstory: I have an ice fishing trip planned in 2 weeks, and it has done nothing but rain the last few days…….:(

N.Y,
Never seen anyone use one of those yellow straps to raise and lower a plow before 🤔.
Ice is getting thin around here with all the rain.

Looks like you installed a spoiler on the top of your plow blade? 🤷

It provides just enough down force to prevent the blade from floating up and blocking the drivers view on the high speed runs between driveways!

Thanks for putting the snow plow on the truck. It made it rain 3/4 of inch of rain here yesterday. LOL Not often we get forty degree weather and rain here in Jan. No ice fishing around here now all the lakes are open. It was sixty plus Monday and Tuesday here broke two records.

Congratulations on a fantastic choice of plows.
I was a loyal Fisher made in Maine customer for years. Then my rebel nephew
went to Fryburg fair and watched the demo of installing and removing a Boss plow from a truck. He bought one. Then did the demo for me. The next year new truck new Boss plow. A engineering marvel with no chain like Fisher uses. No fighting it on or fighting to remove it.

I have to "strap it up” in order to park in the garage.

The fit is so tight, that any “leakdown" will cause the blade to push against the garage door.

Yea…..One of my many “failed projects”…….

I was attempting to be able to drive at freeway speeds (60+) without over heating…….

Although it actually worked (most of the time) ; every-time I rammed a snow-pile , the snow would distort it….

Now I just lower the plow to “a few inchs” off the ground and use the strap to make sure it stays put.

I can now approach 70 mph (99% of the time) without getting it too hot. (y)

Not ideal, but "it works"

I like the Boss plow mounting system and pretty much everything else except the controller. Too easy to hit the angle buttons when activating the up and down.

Trouble is, as soon as he takes the plow off it will get cold and snow heavily. You can't win :)
Actually, I think this is what you should be doing now.
You'll have to attach it again to move the snow but at least you can go ice fishing ;)

With the warm weather and rain it may be swimming with the fish at this point 🐟🐟🐟

I am so glad I don't need to own a snow plow, snow blower, or snow shovel BUT if I wasn't so cheap I would buy a Kubota with a cab & air conditioning

This is the first plow I have ever had, so I can’t intelligently comment on the difference between my Boss, and any other brand,

I will say this though, the “Big Plug” for the controls that goes from the plow to the truck kinda sucked. There is one pin that loosens up and makes it nearly impossible to connect it.

I have already had to replace it…..So far the “after market” one is still holding up.

Sure beats the hell out of a shovel or snowblower thats for sure (y) (y) (y)

I'm expecting a follow up thread making a machined dual position latch assembly in the future. You seem like someone that would stay up at night thinking about how to get that juryrigged strap replaced 🤔. I bet it would make an enjoyable thread.
