A bit warm

There's a couple of warm days coming up over the next week. It's currently 35 deg C, and this is our forecast for the next 6 days....all in deg C.

In deg F that's 95 (now), 93, 97, 104, 108, 109, 99. Beautiful.

Just a little different to what I see a lot of you guys dealing with now clearing snow.

IIRC, yesterday's high temp hit mid 40sF. Cold front blew in. At sunrise this morning it was +8F.
Was whinnnning yesterday lip flapping with my neighbor down the township road about my solid ice covered gravel driveway. Needed ice cleats to walk up and down the steeper sections to avoid face or butt plants. This AM the fresh few millimeters of sharp crystal snow made for an easy and safe walk to the mailbox.

I'll take cold over our too common thaw, freeze cycles. It's WINTER. This is the Northwoods. It's suppose to be cold. 11F when I arrived at the ski area. Primo hard coord to shread. No wind and radiant warmth from the sun. Hardly anyone. NICE! Until afternoon. Too many people. Done.

-15oC this morning and 30cm (12") snowfall from last night to clear. Another 15-30cm forecasted for today. Canadian winters are back, we've been getting spoiled the last few years with little to no snow and mild temps here in S.Ontario

It's hard to imagine being that cold when it's so hot here. We have another week of hot weather coming....97, 106, 108 and 109 deg F.

I think we'll need some more boxes of snow.

Yeah, most of the US is facing a major winter storm.

Need to amend my post. I'll take cold over ....up to a point. Not going to get above 0F for the next several days. Coldest day today in almost a decade. -6F is the forecasted high. Could be worse. People that live up on the Shore, Range or the Dakotas think we are cold weather wimps. Because we are. One reason why we live on the Southshore v. Northshore of L. Superior.

please give my regards to your weather forecaster, but their software is faulty. I think there is a 100% chance of at least 0mm rain on any given day
