Hello everyone! Been a while since I've been on here since my BX2200 has been running good since I was here last in 2020.
My tractor is a BX2200 with a LA211 FEl. The hydraulic cylinder (there's only 1) for the dump/curl feature is leaking.
Apparently there are a couple different reseal kits for this cylinder and I'm trying to identify which cylinder I have.
There is absolutely no markings or stamps etc on the cylinder itself. I have the serial # for the LA211 but no other info.
So . . . . . anybody who can assist would be awesome!
Thanks so much in advance and look forward to the great help I received so many times!:):):)

Best,
Billy

My skills of telepathic mind reading aren't that great.
In other words, It doesn't do us a whole heck of a lot of good trying to help you out if you don't share the serial number.

Go here with your serial number and look up the parts:

Hello "OldHoakie" and thanks for the reply and part #.
Picked up the seal kit and the cylinder is rebuilt!
I decided to install several new lines from the control valve that were leaking. Also Installed a rebuild kit for the "Detent" spool on the control valve. All this was done with a new hydraulic fluid change along with a new filter and cleaning the mesh screen (filter).
Started it up and let it idle for several minutes and checked for leaks.
No leaks! . . . . . so checked the operation of the FEL and it responded with hesitant motion but quickly improved. all seems fine except . . . . . the FEL will not really raise past about waist high now . . . . :(
Shut everything down and checked fluid level and it is barely . . . . . I mean barely on the end of the dipstick. I put in 2.75 gallons as it calls for 2.79. Thinking maybe needs more fluid in the case or just more time to bleed out air and build pressure . . . . ???
Thoughts ????
Tomorrow I will purchase more UDT fluid and top it off more.

You do not have to bleed air. Does the 3pt anx bucket courl and dump work properly?

Yes the dump works, took a few tries but think it had to fill with new fluid since I had taken it apart.
Also the FEL lifts now if I pull back on the joy stick slowly (not all the way) at once. Just goes up gradually.
I realize bleeding the system is not necessary as it does it itself.
Tomorrow I will pick up more UDT fluid and top off the reservoir.
Noticed the 3 point hitch and the belly mower links will not retract at all. Even if I leave the lever pulled back all the way . . . . . I'm guessing more UDT fluid will correct these issues ??

It needs to have the proper fluid level. Fix that first.

1:20 pm (est) Update: filled reservoir to full level. Warmed up tractor and tried FEL implements.
All seem to work fine . . . . however the 3 pt hitch and the "belly" mower links will not raise. I tried manually raising them with no problem, but they won't stay or respond to the "raise / lower' lever.
The "raise lower" lever goes back easy to the raise position, but when pushed forward to lower . . . . . there is stiffness to the pushing the lever forward to the lower position.
The tractor was warmed up . . . . . . turned it off and checked fluid level which is fine.
Thoughts ???

I would say some portion of the system is not properly connected. I dont know enough about the BX to speculate on where.

Hey Dan, thanks for quick reply. I hooked up everything exactly as it was prior to my servicing.
Can't think of anything I bumped or slightly adjusted in the least . . . . . I'm stumped!!!
Anything you can find or think of through friends/connections would be great!

Suggest you disconnect the FEL hydraulic hoses between tractor and FEL then reconnect them firmly.

If there is some feedback rod between the TPH arm and the control valve you might want to see if it is damaged. That is only if the tractor has position control not just quarter inching valve .

I would say its (past) time for some actual diagnosis.

REWARD TIME!!! Actual diagnosis . . . . . 3pt hitch AND belly mower links underneath will not raise.
The control lever for raising and lowing 3pt hitch and mower links feels a little different but moves ok.
The PTO and transmission all works fine.
$50.00 to the person who solves this issue! ! !

First diagnostic question.

Is it plumbed for a backhoe?

You have swapped lines or lines that are not flowing.
Since you do not have three point operation you more than likely have PB and tank swapped.

Ok, I will disconnect and reconnect all the quick connectors for the loader.
What is referred to as PB ?? and tank swapped??
