I still have one. My only complaint is the rungs are terribly uncomfortable without the sturdiest boots.

Me too, the 16' version. Same complaint, those thin rungs.

I had one of those years ago. Worked fairly well

I thought at first it was some kind of shoe rack. Have seen the aluminum version lotsa times, but never a wooden one. But yeah, good sturdy boots with steel shanks in the arches are the only way to stand on that more than about 5 minutes.

I've been doing that for several years now. Especially when trying to read engine serial numbers.

Dang idiots decided it's much better to put the engine serial number plate on top of the valve cover.

Then put a solid metal plate over the top of it to mount the air breather, exhaust, and emissions crap.

You literally can't cram your head in there to read it.

You have to squeeze the phone in there, take a photo, and repeat until you finally get a picture in focus

You might want to look at an boroscope camera if you need to get into tight spaces and get a picture or inspect stuff.

internet guy did that, the label on the modem , so he could read the address and password. I asked him to email it to me so I could print it out BIG. he did.has helped a few times since

I bought one that comes with its own screen for my RV. Dirt cheap and well worth having for many uses.
