But the more important question is, why does it have 5 oil filler caps on each bank???

Looks like he has the rocker cover of the other side setting on top of the blowers. Must not have any type of induction system or air cleaners. The exhaust pipe setup is just a square tube bolted to the heads and 10 pipes welded into it.
That radiator isn't going to keep it cool, should be twice that size at least.
Blowing the image up, the center knob on the valve cover is on a piece welded to the two 8V valve covers to make it look like one big one. Water manifold is fabricated also, the stock one is two pieces, a front and a rear.
