Trying to identify a mystery item found blocking an L5460 Fuel Tank

Kicker is it's under warranty.

As I understand it: Cust says he put additives in. Dealer says they found foil from additive bottles in the tank. Causing the problem and a possible warranty decline.

So, the foil seal from the additive bottles got into the tank(s) and caused a cheaply made check valve (one-way valve) to come apart and cause starting and running failure.

Sounds like the dealer might be double-billing both Kubota and @Kb2100 (which would likely fall under insurance fraud) plus didn't do the claimed work (do you really think enough foil to block the fuel pickup made it in there without being noticed--that's a lot of foil that somehow "fell off" multiple containers). Perhaps @Kb2100 would be best calling Kubota with the tractor serial number and opening a case.
