For me, growing up, it was either iodine or hydrogen peroxide. For me now it's just rub some dirt on it for minors and paper towel and duct tape for really bad ones...
Don't forget that dirt is where tetanus comes from!

I'm definitely surprised I've never gotten tetanus. All the stupid nicks and cuts and scratches and... My dad owned a machinery rebuild and repair company. One of my jobs was to reach into all the nooks and crannies and get as much of the oil and grease and shavings and junk out as I could. I was always scratched up and always dirty.

Electrical tape on finger cuts. There was only one cut it couldn't fix. That one needed 6 stitches and check for nerve and tendon damage

Band Aids... Meh. Never unless the work is done.

Electrical tape over a paper towel works best. And you can keep working. Just don't wrap the tape too tight. Works on hands, fingers, arms, knees, etc etc.

Head wounds aren't an issue, just have to wipe the blood off of your forhead before it drips and hits your glasses.

A former commercial cook. Sometimes you got nailed by a cut or burn during service.

Made the best you could do to get through it. I got pretty good at it.

A couple times had to make a trip to the Emergency Room….always took my stitches out myself.

Band aids are just going to fall off when you go in and wash up for supper, anyway. There was *one* type of band aid that I found would stick on well enough to be worth anything. And I HATE them, cause when it IS time to get them off... Well, too effin bad.

I had all daughters, I can remember one of them losing track of a game she was playing in due to a pretty butterfly .
My oldest grandson got signed up for soccer.... against his will.

He was the kid during the game that just stood there 😬😬😬😬

I asked my son why he was making him go to soccer if he just stood there.

Son replied that he paid for the season.... he's finishing the season 😂🤣😂🤣🤣

Middle grandson quit foot ball and was too chicken to tell his dad (same dad as the older one).

He snuck inside and hid in a closet since his dad was off from work that week.

Finally came out of hiding when his dad went to pick him up.

He should have stayed hiding 🤣😂🤣😂😂

Grounded for a month 🙄🙄🙄🙄

He stayed at our house that weekend. I told him he wouldn't be grounded right now if he had just talked to his dad about football instead of hiding the fact he quit.
