I am new to this forum . I have a bx1880 tractor I just bought to help me around my place. I have two (2) large corrals and a lot of sand around my house. I don't need anything bigger than the 1880. I use the loader a lot, and trying to learn the box scraper.
I like the idea of the hydraulic top link but understand that a kit isn't made for the bx 1880. If I understand what I am reading, the only difference is the cylinder length.
Are cylinders not made for this application?

Any input would help! Thank you!

look at the link below. This helps you to determine what you need for your hydraulic top link.

You will also need a way to control that top link, so you will need a rear remote also.

The BX series should all be about the same. This popped up on a simple Google search. Not saying it's any good but it popped up. There's a few youtube vids out there also.

Do you already have the rear valve(s) to control the rear cylinder?

I recommend you get both the top and tilt cylinders to control the box blade easily.

What is a “hode” and why is it good to have two of them? 😁

I assume you mean HOSES?

I was just showing that a quick Google search yielded results, not that it was a good deal or a quality product. There appears to be options out there to be had.

Thanks to all. I saw the link that mentioned bx 1880 specifically! I realize that I will have to set up rear connectors.
Other than engine size the hydraulic system for the BX1880, BX2380, and BX2680 are all the same. I believe the frame of the BX1880 is smaller also so it cannot take a backhoe. That's what the dealer said anyways.

Good luck, report back, post pictures.

I'd suggest a top link from Summit (despite my luck with Summit supplying Top&Tilt for my BX not being so good). If you get no-name "stuff" it might work for a while, but when a seal starts leaking or a hose blows there'll be a bit of investment fixing it (plus down time). From a time/investment perspective I like to buy quality equipment.
