Not sure why they went with the regenerative system but my b7200 did not have it and quite frankly I preferred it. I like to be able to do two functions at the same time. I still get caught wondering why the curl is not working.
Should not be a problem on a LX.

Boom spool on most Kubota loader valves is serial and when shifted feeds the bucket spool just fine. That forces the twi functions to opetate in lockstep. Regen has nothing to do with that.

The hyhrid valves are much smoother than the B7200/B1630 loader valve which was purely parallel and the least loaded spool would stall the heavier one.

I don't do a lot of loader work. Can the regen be bypassed somehow?
I would rather not have to go to detent mode for the snowblower chute.

No and thats an unfortunate design chioce on Kubota's part.

I think most people would find it more natural and convenient if normal extend was position 3 and fast extend was position 4.

I was also wondering. :unsure:Is regen used on log splitters? My splitter will extend quickly until it starts splitting then will "downshift". Does the valve sense the load and go out of regen mode automatically?

I suspect that is using a two stage pump not regenerative extend in the vakve.

I put a regen logsplitter valve on my 3pt splitter and that is manual change over. Push into 4th for max extend speed and hold until wedge stalls then drop back to 3 for full power. Very natural sequence.

I'm with you guys.

In 12 years, I've never found a need for the regenerative feature on my loader.

It often comes up with snowblower chute rotation. My former JD 425 tractor had hydraulic rotation of the snowblower chute.

I turn the chute "the old fashioned way" with the hand crank on the Kubota.

I have an electric rotation kit I never installed.

The manual version works for me.
