You can’t trust voice recordings, photos, or videos. It doesn’t take some prohibitively expensive software run by a genius to do it.
Unless it would be related to an Ackley Improved caliber, I would not even tune in.

Why is everything suddenly called AI?
What I am seeing is digital image and sound processing (that is around since the 60s) and data base lookup. Maybe a bit more sophisticated now but not a hint of intelligence visible for me. Intelligence is the ability to learn and to create new things and knowledge based on that.
All I see is artificial (and increasingly human) stupidity and it takes longer and longer to get past those AS bots to get a human to finally get a solution for a problem.
I think this is the third round of the "artificial intelligence" I have seen where some consulting companies make a fortune without delivering anything and then it gets very quiet for a few years until the nonsense starts all over again.

Too bad the public can't understand this AIBS as well as those commenting here. After being thru the Y2K, global warming, Covid and numerous other scams one would think the vast majority might turn their backs on this steady diet of BS instead of just swallowing it.

I think the “seeing is believing” is still true. Watching a video is not really “seeing” something in person (which you would then know to be actually what you saw).
But on the other hand what one person sees is not always what another person thinks they saw!
My daughter used to drive me crazy saying that she talked to someone when she actually had texted with someone. She could NOT get that there was a difference.

Otherwise, its decent at making movies and music for a serious fraction of the cost.
Even before digital imaging videos you had to be careful. I remember seeing a film at school where they showed three times the identical video but each time with different audio. Once it was a report about a revolution in some carribean country, then it was an advertisment for a holiday destination. Quite amazing, by seeing the video you thought you cannot be fooled, but it is actually the audio that contains a major portion of the message.
