It's not too hard to drain a bit of hydraulic oil...just get a catch basin, loosen the bolt slightly but don't remove it...just a couple of turns until the oil begins to flow. If you take the bolt all the way out, the oil will gush and then it's hard to get the bolt back in without loosing a lot of oil. Let the amount you think is overfilled drain out. Tighten the bolt.
With the cost of equipment, it's not worth "just let it go the way it is," especially in this case when it's a simple fix. Imho, of course.
