Hello!

I've had this quick hitch (attached pic) for many years but this weekend I lost the pin in the picture (arrow pointing to the pin).

I have no idea where I got these hitch adaptors and I'm hoping either someone can lead me to the name of the hitch and / or where I can get a new pin!

Any help is surely appreciated!!

Ellen

Those are homegrown or small market produced Hitch adapters.
The chances of finding the maker of them is really slim.

You can get new ones, generic or Pat's.
Or find a local machine shop to make you a new pin.
Of if you can't find anyone to make the pin, shoot me a PM and I'll make you one or two so you have a spare.
You can use a bolt in the meantime as it's only job is to keep the implement from popping out of the pocket.

Thank you for your help and suggestions. I actually borrowed a friend's metal detector and spent a couple of hours looking for it and right before dark found it!!!

I appreciate your offer to make a new pin. I don't know anyone with a machine shop so I'm glad to not have to go that route.

I really like this quick connect system because it's simple and it doesn't add a lot of length to the connection arms.

Thank you again for your response!

One thing that might help you in the future is locking pins.

Or lynch pins, harbor freight has a mixed size set for cheap.
