I'm planning on getting a rock bucket (or as HLA calls them, "stone fork") for my Kubota MX5400. I need help choosing a size. I'm settled on HLA as a brand (they're local and widely available) and their Compact Duty line, the question is only on width:
hlaattachments.com
SFRC48 = 48" = 410#
SFRC55 = 55" = 450#
SFRC62 = 62" = 490#
SFRC70 = 70" = 530#
The stock bucket on the MX5400 is 72", same as the outside width of the rear tires.
Purpose will be mostly sorting through several piles of dirt full of a mix of "real" rocks and broken concrete, as well as general cleanup of other rocks lurking in the ~2 acres around the house. Our soil around here is quite clayey and I'm not raking fields, so I'm thinking to err on the smaller side to make it easier to dig in. But how small?
