I need to find out what is clogging my tank inlet (only runs for a few mins after blowing air back into the tank) but can’t find a how-to video anywhere on the net. I’m afraid to disassemble then not be able to get it to the dealer if I can’t reassemble.
Thanks!

The WSM should cover removing the tanks.

Did you drop the crossover pipe and flush it out that way?
A lot simpler than pulling the tanks.
Considering the crossover pipe is on the bottom of the tanks everything in the tank will come out.

its possible removing the crossover pipe may drain out what’s clogging my inlet but really can’t be sure, right? I had to replace the crossover pipe awhile back because I high-centered a stump. I’m afraid my check valve flapper may have worked loose and be what’s clogging the inlet. I saw that happened to someone on another thread. I fear it may not come out when I drain the tank/take off my crossover pipe.

You could very easily use a bore/ inspection scope to confirm that you have it clean.
Up to you.

That makes sense, I’ve just never used one. I worry if I spot trash, etc or whatever is clogging my inlet, the hole for my crossover pipe won’t be big enough to fish it out and I’ll have to drop the tanks anyway.

That crossover pipe is pretty big .
One thing to note is the pickup is in the second tank, not the tank you fill from, so anything in that tank had to come through the crossover pipe.

What is in the fuel tank is most likely accumulated grass, leaves, plastic cap, or the metal foil on top of plastic bottles, maybe a piece of a rag! Nothing big.
