I remember when the Motorola MC68HC11 microcomputer was 'THE' chip to have, decided to get some, Moto said minimum 5,000 pieces. yeesh I need 5 for prototyping.....,so no deal. Salesguy for disti comes by, heard what I needed, said how many ? 5, next day I had them.... TOSHIBA name on them. he says they're both made in SAME factory...door $1, motorola, door #2 , toshiba...... eventually went with Microchip's PIC line though . That was 3 decades ago....I SHOULD have invested in THEIR stock..... sigh....

Your communicating with a guy that sold ~ 1800 shares of intel stock in 1983 and was happy then to unload it. :( If I buy a stock, it is guaranteed to plummet until i sell it. It will then 🚀 to unbelievable values 😟
