Hi there, i have a l2402dt Kubota,
I would like to increase the hydraulic pressure.
My question is where is the pressure relief valve to be found on this tractor, and how can i change the pressure, shim based, or screw based.?
Thanks for the reply.

First question is why?
Second question, are we talking about this tractor (pic below), or since you are in the EU a newer tractor.
Since kubota has found it smart to reuse tractor model numbers, yes can be a little confusing.

Hello, yes it is the tractor like in the picture, its a older model.
The front loader is in my opinion to weak, with a gage i would like to check the pressure.
But also like to now where the control valve is situated, and how to increase or decrease the pressure.
And is there a shim kit available in case of need.
Thanks for the reply.

You're going to have to give me some pictures of the hydraulic plumbing.
From the pump and all the loader lines and loader control valve.
You could have one or more relief valves in that system.

Hello,
Yes i understand, i do have basic knowledge of hydraulic systems.
I have mounted the front loader myself and added 3 extra hydraulic outlets on the tractor. 2 x double function en 1 single function, all fine, works great.
I just wondered if somebody is out there
And can tell me where the main relief valve is placed in the tractor, before i remove hydraulic components or lids in random order.
I will make some pictures today.
From the original hydraulic system.
There is no relief valve near the pump.

A parts or workshop manual should have that info.

Also post a picture of the hydraulic pump and the loader valve hose connections to the tractor hudraulic system. On some older Kubotas the inlet relief on the loader valve also served as the primary system relief.
