99 thru 2006 GM trucks

I have an 04 GM truck and have replaced the instrument cluster twice with rebuilt ones. They are known for having problems. Has anyone found one that works?

My neighbor was having problems with his 2nd replacement instrument cluster and I found this listing on ebay for repair. He sent the original cluster in for repair and the cluster was repaired/calibrated and the mileage set - he was satisfied. I believe that this guy has the same equipment that was used at the factory and was aware of the common problems.

I have a friend that has a fleet of these years pickups on his farming operation and has used this rebuild guy several times and have zero issues with his work.
