I blanked for a second and thought you were asking about of valve to piston clearance

I did not have feeler gauges with me yesterday but checked valve clearance by hand and they all felt normal. ~0.010-0.015"
I will check them with feelers gauges as soon as I can.

Your off on valve adjustments, but your numbers should leave you more clearance not less.

Ok ill set those here in a minute.
I found the issue. I did not torque the rod caps.

I should have pulled the oil pan before i started this thread, but it seemed like the same or similar noise to before so i wanted to ask the experts here if i had missed something. Thanks for the input guys. Its running fine with no bad noise now other than a bit of valve rattle which I'm sure is probably related to valve lash being out of adjustment.

Edit: What is the Head bolt torque spec? Its leaking a bit of antifreeze on the back of the head. I question if its not properly torqued if its leaking.
