Kubota Rotary Tiller FL1000 ASSY JOINT UNIVERSAL length.

I have a Kubota Tractor B7200D with a Kubota Rotary Tiller FL1000. The manual show a ASSY JOINT UNIVERSAL 70798-0041-1 (70710-6130-1) bring to find the Min and Max length. I'm thinking about adding a Pat's Quick Hitch Cat 1. Which means it will add about 3-1/2" to 4". Will I need to buy a new shaft? Thanks

If you have it in front of you, pull the shaft out 4" and mark then pull out the rest of the way and tell us what that length is.

I do not have it here, but I will do that. This was in the family and I have it know and bring to learn more about it before buy a Pat's quick hitch. Thank You for your help. john

One other option is to add a PTO extension to make up for the hitch.
I add a quick hitches to my B and L and I didn't have any issues with my PTO shaft lengths.
