If you are not familiar with Lake Speed Jr (aka the oil geek) and in this case Dave in Utah - then this is a treat.

Lake will explain in somewhat common terms WHY oil breaks down and ways to slow that process down.

Interesting and informative too.

I've watched a bunch of Lake Jr.'s videos and that man has forgotten more about oil than I will ever know.

This discussion certainly gives credence to good preventive maintenance, especially oil changes. Some of the discussion was beyond my understanding, but I was able to fully understand that oil changes are not a waste of time or resources. Keep that little baby Orange purring! :) Thanks for posting.
