Serial number on older Kubota tractor

Hey guys, just getting back on the site wife has been sick but I have a b6000 with a loader on the engine it has these numbers b600 6-6-73 does that mean it's a 1973 model?

Oops sorry it says zl600 6-6-73

There is no date codes on Kubota's.

I don't know what numbers your reading or where your reading them from.

The numbers are on the engine by the injector pump, just wanted to know if they were a date code

Ok the cast numbers are just size and mold number.
The stamped number is just the engine serial number, and no, there is no date code build into these old engines.
