Just returned from the local Kubota dealer w/my one bucket cylinder w/ # 35940 HD stamped on barrel of cylinder. There is also a logo which I am not familiar with. Could be PMI or RMI. Have included some pictures.

Dealer says it's Kubota but its not the same as the loader manual calls out. Nobody there could figure it out.

I have a bf400g loader, and I'm trying to match this cylinder because I only have one. Manual says it's a 1.77 bore and 17.7 stroke. The retracted length is 26" +/- and the extended length is 43 1/2+, so that's pretty close to 17.7.

I would like to know what cylinder I have before I order the part as it is non-returnable. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Did you ever find a replacement cylinder? I have the same problem finding info on #35940 HD
The OP was a one hit poster from 11 years ago, so your chances of getting an answer are slim to none.

What is it you need to know?
If you're looking for seals hit up a local Hydraulic shop they should be able to match seals.
If your looking to replace the cylinder, you might as well look at aftermarket suppliers as finding a stock cylinder is like finding a unicorn!

I'm not the expert here, but he would recommend you consider replacing both cylinders with Magister. You can look on their website, it has all the measurements.

yes, replace both ! I had TWO custom cylinders made, plus new hoses for LESS than what local hydraulic shop wanted to 'reseal and test' ONE cylinder.
