Well I just saw the first robin of the year, sitting in the big red bud tree, so if the story is true the higher you see the first one the better your year will be,, so this should be a stellar year,,, One can only hope

Same here in NE Ohio. Had several under the bird feeder just yesterday - at 21°F.Last few years we have seen Robins here in northeast even in winter. Have no idea whats going on but they are still here.
How do crawdads control worms?Heard one earlier, never seen it. Probably top of the tree somewhere. They're here mostly year round just larger numbers from about March through December. Them and the crawdads keep the worm population in my yard in check.
