My bearing was shot! All but 2 of the balls were there and the outer race just fell off in my hand. It took a little bit of time but it worked like a charm! I took a little stone grinder and a Dremel tool to gently grind the inner race. When I got close to breaking through .... it just popped apart and I slid it off with my fingers. Eazy Peezy!
Very useful. Thanks.

I too am 100% mechanic but it appears only 75% brain! That technique could save me a lot of time. Thanks.

Looking quickly at Plus Gas it seems to be similar to Three-in-One oil which is common in the US. It is a light weight oil.

It does work but these newer formulations are much better and work faster. They are not “miraculous“ but much better. They are chemicals that seem to be able to break the rust down and carry it away. The PB Blaster is labeled as a “rust catalyst” but no idea what that means really.

The Kroil is expensive here and has a strong odor that is offensive to most folks.

I don’t know of any good injector cleaner but some people have recommended Power Service.

Good luck with the tractor
Thanks. Plus Gas much more like WD40 than our 3-In-1 which is a light oil and has been around almost as long as I have .. or even longer.

Yep. Kroil not easy here but PB Blaster seems not bad - $22 for 11oz. I'll give that a go.

Thanks for injector cleaner suggestion. PS not easy over here either and there are too many alternatives!
