I have a 3901. I'd like some sort of tool rack for a few tools, like a shovel and a rake.

You guys have any favorite tool racks you'd recommend?

There's a couple/few members that have these and they love them.

When they first advertised here, several folks bitched complained of the price.

I think they were simply looking for something to bitch complain about.

I haven't been interested, but they certainly look like they are well built and can accomplish a lot of stuff.

I think the guys with them would agree. ;)

I just hope they build products that are much better than their almost worthless website. I just searched for products that might be helpful on a garden tractor and quickly gave up.

Check out the "customization" area.

Lots of ideas there.

Do you want a standalone rack or a "ballast box" style?

I modded my Ballast box to accept rakes/shovles/etc...

Many people put PVC pipes in before they fill it with concrete too.

Simple steel tubing makes durable tool, chain, and saw carriers. One welded, one bolted. M59 one also incorporates skid pan to protect hydraulic inards.

And I think I like the idea of a right side vertical rack even more !!

Does anyone know if such a product exists? (I'm learning to weld, but I'm not very skilled yet.)
I would look at landscape trailer accessories.

Good learning project. I’m not a very skilled either. Hardest thing is finding material. Luckily a pretty nice scrapyard not far away but ever changing inventory so it takes time to collect what you need. Less than $50 in materials and built tractor tuff.
Evening vocation school is where I learned to weld. Often large amount materials are donated for practice projects.
