Hi folks,

My FEL bucket looks like swiss cheese. To me, it doesn't make sense to simply replace the bucket. I'd like to capture the ability to mount different implements on the FEL. I see a lot of innovative pieces these days, all with female SSQA brackets on them. And, I see lots of SSQA buckets, any one of which would work for me. Can buy those new, for scrap price.

Have been wanting to obtain a male SSQA plate that will match the span of my Kubota FEL, which is 40-7/8", center-to-center. In my wanderings, I have seen many Kubota FELs that use this span, but I have not seen a loose male SSQA plate with that dimension.

Was resigned to consigning a custom build, but I would expect a 'stock' item might be quite a bit cheaper...if I could find one.

Somebody posted a link to this image a few days ago:

That piece on the right. That's what I need.

Any recommendations?

The "universal" weld on ones are vastly cheaper than the bespoke ones, but you have to cut the ears off your bucket, weld them to the adapter plates and weld in a crossbar between them. You can find the pre-fabbed brackets for most kubota loaders, but they are in the 1400-2000$ range, from what I can tell.

What loader do you have? You can usually find the adapter if you search by the loader model.

Personally I'm planning to cut and weld my own and spend ~$200, at some point.

something like this ?? https://www.skidsteerattachmentdepo...er-to-skid-steer-quick-attach-adapter-835160/

Need to know which LOADER (LAxxx ), your L2500 has on it, then search 'kubota LAxxx ssqa adapter ' should get you several hits....

I was bored one day ,years ago, made one for another tractor I had.
Loader on my L2500 is a LB400.
Did the search, and I would say that $800 (plus shipping) is beyond what I'd want to pay. But, that's what I would pay my son to fab one up for me! He's busy with much more interesting stuff...(metalbycharlie on Instagram).

The term for what your looking for is called an SSQA adapter.
The one in the picture looks to be an ATI version.

Changed the thread title accordingly
