This guy shows up a lot. Hangs out with the deer. He is hunting squirrels in the day. Foxes are funny when they start showing off.

We have one that sits on our front porch. Rabbits nest under our boxwood hedge, and she waits on the porch for one to come out so she can grab it. Security camera has caught her getting one a couple times.

I dont have a black one but an ole girl who is grey. Dont think she will be around much longer. But beautiful…

I cant tell you how many miles I walk when I was young on my trap lines , Reds and grays, they were lovely critters. But when you have a family to feed that fur money comes in real handy

As a young kid our farm town had a 20 dollar bounty on them. Good money for a 12 year old kid with a 22 rifle.

Not a lot of foxes around here since the coyotes moved in about 15 years ago. Catch one on the trail cam every once in a while. Used to sit on the back porch and watch a pair in the back yard every evening.

Beautiful critters. Too bad they are nasty creatures.
I had to take one out at my friend's house. It became way too comfortable coming close while his dog was playing with squeaker toys. His dog isn't small either. The thing would come within 15 yd every night. The .458 made quick work. The police visit took a bit longer

Sadly few years back had to dispatch one that was sick. Yep by time a dug a hole had a few questions from uniformed friends. Can on the 556 would have been nice.
This one has actually been caught playing with neighbors dawg. Also this fox hangs with deer…
Oh boy and a bird just flew into the house and perched on the xmas tree . All this while posting wth lol

I think I shot this 5-6 years ago at our old house. The foxes had a den they returned to year after year to have their kits. I think there were 5 total in this year.
Shot through the window of our house (they were about 150' away, near the den).

we have a few left out here, for now. Kits and adults. See them around the house every so often. Fun to watch. They play kind of like a cat, but kind of like dogs too. But one thing's for certain. In the middle of the night when I walk in from the shop, when they scream it gets your attention for sure.

Here's the cheeky little booger who visits our place up north pretty much every night.
Sometimes he brings the missus.
We put out corn, old berries, old grapes, & stale nuts for the birds (and the occasional leftover pizza crust) and he just helps himself.
Often, if he is displeased with the menu, he leaves us a present. (a little pile)
