This ever happen to anyone? Just curious.
I was plowing along tonight, Went to lift up and nothing, just loose flopping.
I immediately could tell it felt like some linkage in the arm snapped as there was no resistance.
After the swearing was completed, I tried side to side movement and that was fine, just lost up and down.
tore off the cover and found a ball and socket / rod end type deal, and the bolt that connects it sheared off.
Calling my local dealer tomorrow, hopefully they stock these things.

Try MB Kubota in Springfield MA or East Windsor CT. They might not have it in either of the stores but can get it from one of their 7 other stores if one of them has it in stock. They have been very helpful whenever I needed a weird part in a hurry.

FK rod ends makes all of these. Great people and been a seller of their products for years. Race cars to peterbilts( sorry oem freaks) unfortunately they are gonna shut down for holidays. Probably could buy 10 for the price of one at dealership.
Look at summit, speedway and other aftermarket. Quicker cheaper same product or better.( again sorry to butt hurt oem orange as he calls it freak) Ill leave speeling and English mIsTakes in. 🤣

Easiest option would probably be your local Kubota dealer. If you get caught in the blackout caused by Kubota’s system changeover or otherwise want/need to source elsewhere, that rod end is called a Heim joint. They come in both male and female configurations. You just have to figure out what size you need.

Maybe its just the way the picture is making it look, but are you sure that is "sheared"?

Kind looks like it backed out (threads circled in green) and it just needs to be screwed back in with a wrench and some medium strength thread locker?

(Ignore the green horizontal line, I cant figure out how to remove it)

Similar. 'working fine then sloppy', NO resistance, just a WTF moment..#010 sheared off bearing side of where the 'post' is welded onto the 'bent metal' section. Dealer had piece in stock so 1/2hr later 'up and running'. I was going to fix, but $20 for the real part was a deal !! I now spray Rustcheck (thickish oil) onto all the moving parts every couple of months. She's not 'trailer queen clean' but controls all work very smooth !

Bacon's in Williamsburg to the rescue. Yea almost probably could have threaded it back in, but the last 1/4 inch or so sheared off. Soft bolt, easy-out got the broken end out without a problem to my amazement. Heim joint! Being an offroad Jeep guy I should have known that.
Dealer says it doesn't happen to often, just worked its way loose and snapped.
Thanks everyone!
