Hi All.
I rebuilt a V3307, complete disaster finding all the parts. It’s installed in a Takeuchi TL10V2. I tried to start it and it fired up immediately. As a precaution, I immediately turned it off. Now it won’t start anymore. Starts with starting fluid in the intake. Had a mechanic hook up his computer and it shows only 125 psi on the fuel pressure. The injection pump worked fine before. Could it be the electronics? Fuel shut off valve? I took the pump out today, what a disaster that was. The valve on the pump operates fine. Are these self priming? Thank you in advance.

I can't help you with your original problem, but I can warn you to put the ether down before you cause a bigger problem, if you haven't already.

Thanks for the heads up. It was very minimal and only ran for maybe 3 seconds.

A Common Rail fuel system has neither an injection pump nor a shut-off valve.
They have a high-pressure supply pump that's partly controlled by an SCV or Suction Control Valve.
The SCV is controlled using a 5-volt signal, so it's good you did not apply battery voltage testing it.
Did you replace the injectors or reuse the original ones? if you reused them did you install them in the correct cylinders?
If you replaced them, how did you register them without an electronic service tool and the Takeuchi program?

I reused the existing injectors. I bought this machine defective, someone else tore the upper end apart. It sounds like I’m in trouble here.
