I made this grill guard for my 2502. It’s nothing fancy but heavy duty being made out of 3/16 steel. I have enough material left to make a guard for the hydraulic block underneath. Ive got about $60 and 2 hours time in this so I saved a chunk of change doing it myself.

Nice job man!

What type of finish is that?
thanks! I did two coats of primer and 3 coats of enamel. I went back and forth between black or Kubota orange as I had both on the shelf. I’ll see how this holds up. One of my good buddies does all the powder coating in this area so if the paint doesn’t hold up, I’ll have him powder coat it.

I made some brackets and mounted this light on it last night. It’s extremely bright and has a mix of spot and flood lights. Puts out a ton more light than the factory lights do and isn’t blocked by the loader bucket since it rides higher up. If it gets smashed, won’t be a big deal either.

Nice job, and thanks for posting. I got everything together to do mine, but it ended up on the backburner.
Adding lights over the break and coming back around to the GG as well...

Did you weld angle stock and then bolt through the side? I like the idea vs welding directly and have been revisiting old pics/threads recently

thanks! Yup, I welded angle stock on the inside and then bolted through the existing holes on the sides. Super simple and easily removed if ever necessary. Used my torch to heat it up and conform it to the guard as well as bending the bottom section in towards the tractor.
