FYI Be sure you check oil level in the spring. When I store my deck vertical also but, trailing side is down, the gearbox will leak oil thru the vent plug . I replace with pipe plug to prevent oil loss.

Thanks I don't recall anything leaking out last winter, But I'll check that..
