Hey
My father-in-law has an L4150 Model BF900 (Serial No 52960) and suspects the orbital unit is gone, We cannot seem to source one anywhere and looking for some advice. Willing to pay duty and shipping fees where necessary. They seem to be rarer than hens teeth.
Thanks in advance

What is an orbital unit? That is a term I am not familiar with so may be local vernacular to Ireland?

It is a holiday in the USA so many people won’t be replying today but sooner than later someone will be able to help

Just guessing but that might be what most of us would call a power steering valve? If that's the case, why do you feel the need to replace it? They are not prone to failure very often.

The Hydrostatic steering unit is a orbital valve: ;)
But a L4150 does not have Hydrostatic steering so no orbital valve.
Just a normal power steering box.

Lets see if we can clarify some details:
L4150 is the tractor model number.
The BF900 would be the loader model number.
The serial number does not match and L4150 (If it is the right serial number for the tractor and not the loader, it's not that uncommon on older units).

The L4150 does not have a orbital valve (but it might be Ireland verbiage, apologies if this is the case).
Typically a hydrostatic steering has Orbital valve that drives a hydraulic cylinder to steer.
The L4150 uses a standard power steering unit.
There can be variances to models that were delivered to the EU compared to US models so confirm parts.

This is what I show for a L4150 steering unit. (3 pictures below)
Part Number: 32530-16100

I've included for reference only, what a L3450 with Hydrostatic steering looks like (Last 2 pictures).

Double and triple check that is what your steering gear looks like.

Another possible option send @007kubotaguy a message and see if he might have one.
