My 3 point lift arms don’t seem to go as high as before.
Can anyone with a L3901 and R14 tires measure the pin height with arms all the way up?
Thank you

Before what? Have you changed / worked on something or did the 3PH change for no apparent reason?

As when new.
Tractor is just over 3 years old.
No issues. Never changed or modified anything.

Curious as to what makes you think the 3pt isn't as high as before. Are you going by the height of the lower links themselves or does it appear that an attachment is lower than before? The turn buckle on the top link may have rattled loose causing an implement to be lower such as the end of a rotary cutter. Just a thought. Good luck.

I have a LP Quick Hitch and it has been well noted the hitch can hit the rear lights when raised all the way with a shortened 3rd link.
Mine is no where close.
Plenty of clearance.

On tractors I've had, the tractor end of the toplink was multiple choice. If you used a different hole, it will affect it. This is one change that could be made inadvertently.

There are usually different holes in the lift arms as well. You'd need to make a decision to use different holes there, so you'd remember that.

My L3901 with R4 = 27". Lots of variables in that metric. Here is a picture of the lift arm at full lift - fewer variables in that.

On the left arm: 27.5” to the center of the pin when raised, 6” when lowered. This is the fixed arm, not the adjustable.

raise the hitch up all the way. Now turn the engine off. No implement on the quick hitch. Now walk back to the quick hitch and pick up on it until it stops. It should come up 1 to 1.5" and no more no less. If that's correct, there is nothing else that can be adjusted other than the top link hole position. The top link, if you put it in the bottom hole, it'll pick the implement up a little higher but it will also tend to pick up at an angle (rear of implement comes up first). On a shredder that may be an issue for some.
