It's a old snowblower on a old Grey market tractor, when using it I would have to stop, raise the 3 point crank the chute than lower the unit and continue.I installed a 30RPM 12V reversing motor very similar to a power window motor, should be a better experience this winter. All in $65 CDN

I have the same blower. I purchased the thing for $300 from a friend who had it sandblasted and powder coated, then installed all new bushings and bearings. Then he turned around and traded for a new tractor (bigger) so he never used it. I have no idea of the brand.
Do you know of the brand by chance?
I am also interested in your setup with the electric chute rotator, very clever. Where would one pickup a motor like you have?

I did a total overhaul last year excluding drive chain and gears(someone did them or very well looked after),these were built in Canada for Kubota,JD and Ford.I bought the motor off Amazon, had a shaft that fit the crank handles pipe and assembled from there, feel free to message me for any more information

Thanks for the info on the motor and the blower. My future plan is to do something like you did. My first item is to modify it to fit my quick hitch for easy hookup, then weld on some wider skids. I look forward to seeing how this does in the occasional deep snow which is the reason I purchased.

Thanks again
