I have a b2400 with l351 loader that bought split in half. I finally got it all together and have no 3 point function, the loader valve was replaced with a vevor that has no numbers on it. I pulled the fitting out of the n port and it does look like it will accept a power beyond fitting, it appears that it has a small threaded hole inside. Will plugging this hole solve my issue?

Edit: does not look like it will accept a power beyond fitting
Looks to me like its machined for a power beyond sleeve. It also looks like the PO screwed NPT fittings into the ports. Put a plug in the other two ports and your 3pt may wake up.

Can you show me which to ports to plug? And will I still need a power beyond sleeve? I have a p40 i bought from Amazon but it's too big

Right now it looks like you have two return hoses connected to the Vevor valve. One is going to the return port on the hydraulic outlet block (power beyond) and the other is going to a tank port on the side of the transmission case. Since those ports are all connected internally you have no pressure going to the 3pt.

Remove the hose going to the transmission and plug both of those ports. With that plumbing you are using the tank port on the valve for power beyond. It wotks but is not recommended and may damage the valve.

The proper way to plumb the valve is with a power beyond sleeve and your current 2 hose plumbing.

Ok thank you! One more thing, any idea how I can find out what power beyond it requires with no part number on the block? I contacted vevor and they were no help without a part number.

I would be guessing. If its a P40 clone a G thread power beyond sleeve from Summit might work. You said you also have a P40 but its "too big". In what way is it too big?

Thread size is bigger than the port, not sure if the picture helps
Oh - you have a PB sleeve for a P40 valve and it does not fit the N port on your Vevor valve.

If I were you I would toss the Vevor valve and buy a P40 that will accept that sleeve. The P40 valves are dirt cheap.

Who did you purchase the sleeve from and does your Vevor valve have a joystick handle or is it two levers?

It's one joystick handle, the pb sleeve i purchased from Amazon for 17 bucks, so I should just buy the right control valve and end my frustration lol

I doubt Amazon is selling power beyond sleeves. Your sleeve likely came from someons selling through Amazon.

Yhat said are you sure you are using the N port on the Vevor valve? It looks like its a P40 clone.

Kimllier store on amazon, none of the ports are labeled on the valve so no I'm not 100% sure, front loader works though

Take the steel plug out of the port directly below the one on the top and see if the sleeve fits in it.

Dan
No luck, all the ports are too small, I put a threaded plug in the small hole inside the lower port and I now have pressure to front and rear, but... the 3 point went all the way up and stuck, seems mechanically stuck at the top, I have the knob opened up and won't budge

Checking the other port was a Hail Mary - incomplete at the 1 yard line....

You need a sleeve not a plug. The only valves I have ever encountered that used a conversion plug are the small Wolverine valves ftom Prince. Are you sure you got a P40 sleeve and noT a P80?

What i ordered was a p40, but no telling if they sent the right one, I will try to contact them and see if they can verify the part number, googling the part number it says p40 and p80 on the same page

It looks overly large to me. Whst is the OD of the male thread? Thats more reliable than a oart number on a bag or box.

Looks to be a 7/8, one thing though is will something like this seal off in this particular valve since the small hole is threaded? Seems to me like this valve may not be right for this tractor?

How about .825"? That would match G1/2" which is the thread on every P40 I have seen.. SAE-10 is .875 but I have never seen a P40 with an SAE thread on the power beyond port.
