Summer lasted through mid-October, and the 2 1/2 weeks of fall weather was nice. Then winter showed up this week, with another 10-12” forecast for today, and more tonight.

Fall? Winter? I thought it was still summer. Building a shipping crate later last night with temps in the 70's, humidity in the 90's, sweating my tail off when it should've been in the 40s or 50s by that point.

Wow - that’s pretty stout. Saw your area was getting snow on Weather Channel.

Sometimes people poke fun at me for converting the tractor from mowing duty to snow operations so early.

I could point them at your picture…..

We’ve had some pretty good snow storms before Thanksgiving many times.

Others, not so much and I’m fine with that! :) ;)

I just got the garden harvested two weeks ago and shredded. And all the summer outdoor rugs and patio things put away. Good timing this year. I still haven’t removed the cutter and installed the blade on the tractor, but we’re basking in the warm weather for the next two weeks in TX and LA on vacation. Hopefully it will be melted or at least compacted when we return later this month so I can do those things. This is a bit early for us. Typically we just get a dusting of snow in early November and not snow like this until after Thanksgiving.
