After working fine last winter, front pto is slow with no power. All fluids OK and everything else is fine. Anyone else run into this problem.
First, what is the complete model number of your RTV?After working fine last winter, front pto is slow with no power. All fluids OK and everything else is fine. Anyone else run into this problem.
Thanks I will get the full model number tomorrow.First, what is the complete model number of your RTV?
If it is an RTV1100, the blower is powered by hydraulic pressure.
If it is an RTV-X1100, the blower is powered by a PTO shaft that is not related to hydraulics. The PTO is engaged by an electric clutch located on the gearbox's output shaft.
Thanks I will get the full model number tomorrow.
my model is RTV-X1100C serial 44882Thanks I will get the full model number tomorrow.
On an RTV-X1100C, the only place the PTO can slip is the electric PTO clutch between the PTO shaft and the gear box.my model is RTV-X1100C serial 44882
That makes sense, so the electric clutch must be replaced, do you know if it is a dyi or dealer job, my closest is 100 miles. Also hard to find information on that K connect unit, manual or parts. Thanks again for the helpOn an RTV-X1100C, the only place the PTO can slip is the electric PTO clutch between the PTO shaft and the gear box.
