It is small, 2wd with a loader. What do I need to look at and figure out
before I actually consummate the deal? Where are the important identifying
number going to be? It has some hyd. leaks and one rear tire will need to be
replaced according to owner. Runs and drives price is $2300.00

Well, being small..........
does it have a model number on the hood/bonnet?

tell you what - take a picture and upload it, that will help us tremendously with the question at hand

Read through this post

some of the links in the first post are broken but they are replaced by PDF documents a few posts further down.

Why do you think/know it is gray market?

2wd without power steering and a loader will be an operator’s challenge.

Great input, I'm getting cold feet.
Look for an older non grey market Kubota with loader, 4wd and power steering. When you buy an out of production tractor make sure it has the factory loader. Because you’ll never find a used one, and new ones are no longer available.

I would reconsider, unless it's all that you can afford. Small, grey market, 2WD with a loader will be a hard resale if you don't want to keep it. It will most likely be a challenge, at least, to find parts for.

Ok, went and checked the tractor. It is an L1500 2wd. Much too small for me, I am certainly glad
I found you folks. I am still hunting a compact tractor. I backed out, no feelings hurt.
