Testing the throw of forward/ Reverse pedal. My most hated part of a Kubota tractor if you have been running normal tractors.
Just testing were i am going to cut and weld a new pedal after running this one 100 hours now. So testing with a bolt for now. When i finish I’ll post up finished.
I am sure many have problems modifying so this isn’t for you.

Why they even put brake pedals on is beyond me other than ebrake.
this has worked well so far. May shorten both ends and align pedals for my size 13 clod hoppers .

Have fun with your modification.

From what I understand, every tractor requires some learning. It's not like they are exactly like a car/truck.

I guess I'm lucky that I fall into the camp of I'm used to the treadle, and it's no issue for me. In practice, I never use the brakes other than for a parking brake. Even then, I put the bucket and rear attachment down first.

I simply made a bracket that attaches the the pedal bracket and have a single upright lever that controls forward and reverse.

I am a paraplegic with no use of my legs and feet so this is a necessary mod for me but it amazes me how many able bodies friends and family run my tractor and prefer the hand control over the foot pedal! Drawback of course is operating the joystick at the same time, but I have overcome this and have gotten pretty efficient with loader operations.

I do understand that you're wanting to modify the pedal itself for ease of foot operation, but just pointing out there are alternatives.

The engineer that put the brake pedals on the right over the go peddle should be tarred and feathered. No way would I buy a tractor with that design but I see they still have some newer models that have it.

I haven't had any trouble adapting to the later design treadle on my LX3310 and I go back and forth between a twin pedal John Deere.

Here is a nicely executed twin pedal mod.

That’s what gets me. I grew up with wheel brakes that were needed daily.

Exactly…. The newer guys that weren’t brought up on tractors i guess don’t know any better. The fact that they separated left to right on brakes tells you we knew how to stay out of trouble 🤣
