Seriously though, the ship sailed, the horse bolted, or whatever ... the OP chose another model.

Wow! Is that tractor good from far, or far from good? :ROFLMAO: I kid, it looks great.
LOL, thanks. It's a 1967 Basildon built diesel. It's one of my play toys but I did put a quick hitch on it to do some box blading. I like my old tractors but I will admit I do prefer modern loaders and hydraulics for a loader tractor.

Basildon in Essex, England? If so, I spent a lot of time near there.

Yes, same plant that is still building New Holland's today. The T7 series and some others.

Wow what year is that ant the HP. Looks like showroom machine!
Thanks, it's a 1967. Built on the day shift January 27 with final assembly Feb. 2. Being a Basildon build it's supposed to have the headlights in the lower grill, but I like the US style side hood pods. They are LED's with accent rings.
It's a 2.9L/175 cubic inch diesel, 44.1 horsepower/125.7 ft-lb torque.
It's retired now to shows and pulling box blade around the yard.
I can't remember exact number without going to look, but it's got 4200 or 4500 hours.

I would like to put a heathouser on my MX5400. Any thoughts would be appreciated. TIA
You really should have started your own new thread with this question instead of stealing someone else’s thread. People aren’t going to find this and give you answers

Do they make heathouser for the MX? If memory serves me correctly and many times I'm wrong, this was a poor man's heated cab by using cloth around the engine and directing it to the operating stating.

I know this is an old thread but wanted to add my 2 cents as I just went through this and one of my big decision points was something that I did not see mentioned anywhere when researching. I currently have an lx2610su. My Grand L4060 will be delivered next week for me one of the main deciders was fuel fill location I currently fill with a 5 gallon can and ask get older it is getting harder to lift it up to the bonnet also I seem to spill every time no matter how careful I am . I know there are much better fueling options pumps etc. and I will get there someday but for what I am working with today the lower fill was very important.

You and me both brother. That plus cold a/c blowing in my face made it an easy decision.

Agreed ThE 4060 is actually probably overkill for me only have 5 acres but needed more lift power and have some health issues so need the ac for sure.
