Replacement Seat

I have a 11 year old B3200. The seat is developing a few cracks. I was wanting to replace it but the dealer price seems a little steep. ($375) This is just the simple tilt forward seat, not any kind of air ride. Does anyone know of a source for a same type or even better bolt on seat?

If you do not find some suitable replacement, you could just put a cover on it.

You have a variety of choices in color and material; all for $40. I bought an endura seatcover for my LX to prevent punctures and cracks. It fits well, and it is comfortable. YMMV

I was thinking the same thing. I had to get a replacement seat for my L3010 two years ago and it was close to $700. I was joking with the parts tech at Messicsk and said I'm probably the only fool spending this kind of money for a seat. He looked it up and they sold 80+ of them in the last two years, which made me feel better, ha.

If you need something like that again, you're not far away from Gibble Auto Upholstery just South of Manheim. When I worked we had them do our truck and equipment seats. They refurbed forklift seats for a fraction of that. They replaced a panel in the leather seat of my company Tahoe, cloth and vinyl truck and equipment seats.

Anybody recall the B/BX seat replacement campaign from about 2008/2009?
The awful forward sloping seat was replaced by Kubota with a much better seat for $27 exchange
Awhile later,at the dealer,I noticed the same seat for sale for $100!
Needless to say,I bought one.
Of course my B seat is still perfect!

Look up repairing cracks in vinyl seats on youtube.
I had good success with the one I did a few years ago on a John Deere riding mower after watching a bunch of videos.

Got mine at tractor supply. The only difference was the back wasn't painted orange.

After being quoted $2400 CDN for a BX23S seat, I opted for a $30 2 piece coverup......

Seat is 'bond-formed' so auto-up guys can't stitch a new one.

Maybe not, but I wouldn't rule them out till asking them. We had forklift, telehandler and other equipment seats redone. They made custom foam for some equipment seats that were in awful condition.

I've used Gibble in the past and they do good work indeed. My seat was beyond repair. The previous owner never covered it and water entered through the cracks, soaked into the cushion foam, and rotted the metal frame to the point it broke.

I did, asked, local guy famous for his PERFECT seat restorations(40-50-60s). He explained how the 'formed' seats ware made and unless you make a custom heated press,no way you can do what the factory did. Current vinyl can't be removed without tearing out chucks of foam,so you need to replace those THEN make a reverse image of the seat,glue and press and hold.....
To do it right, it's a LOT of time and effort for a 'one off' run

The auto upholstery people can’t make a formed seat exactly like the original. But they can use good quality dense foam to make a pretty nice seat to fit the pan and it will look and feel good.

Thanks everyone for the response. I did find a replacement seat for $140 from this place. I still haven't decided if I will replace with factory or this one. My tractor has always been stored inside and I even wiped the seat down with armor all once or twice a month. Best money that I've spend on it yet!

Maybe take this opportunity to upgrade to a suspension seat? For about $350 you can get one of the mechanical suspension set ups on eBay or Amazon
