Injector pump rebuild L2350 DT

Well, I was going to list all the steps out but this YouTube video was spot on!

I was not getting the injector to fire on #3 so I pulled it apart. Thank goodness I did. It was so junked up inside, I’m suprised the other injectors even fired.

All and all not to difficult. Just keep your area clean and work through the steps on the video.

If your talking about lining this up with the rack marks. Yes! I hope that’s what you mean!

I’m getting leaks on 2 of the 3 fittings that go into the injector pump. Im
Guessing the rubber gasket is seen its last days.

The O-ring is dust / dirt / water shield, not a fuel sealing device.
Getting fuel out of there means that the 050 sealing washer is leaking.
Either you didn't torque the delivery valve's to spec or the washers are deformed or damaged.

hmm good catch! I have been over and over the workshop manual you sent me and I can not for the life of me find where those specs are!

It has been sitting for 2 years in the weather. When I pulled the fuel filter off I knew I was going to have a fuel problem! Lol.
